Dubai World Central – To Open Office in Newport Center
Dubai World Central has concluded initial meetings to open an office to establish a series of B2B meetings with selected companies in Orange County as part of its sustained drive to attract foreign investment, innovation and open markets. Dubai World Central is a strategic initiative of the Government of Dubai. Last week the CEO of Dubai World Central (DWC) met with local attorney James Daily of the Daily Law Group about their efforts to build a master-planned city around the Al Maktoum International Airport, the largest airport in the world when complete. The magnitude of the project cannot be adequately appreciated as it covers an area of approximately 145 square kilometers. DWC represents a self-sustained ecosystem that seamlessly integrates this global trade, business, logistics and an aviation hub with a smart and sustainable urban city development. DWC will ultimately support a population of one million people. The city is now home to World Expo 2020.
The delegation from Dubai World Central visited local businesses and selected Daily Law Group to assist its due diligence as part of its exclusive B2B outreach program. Among the companies visited were AlignMed Inc., a leading innovator of corrective apparel for back pain and posture in the workplace and Costco Inc. The Daily Law Group’s founder, James Daily has had a long time relationship with Kaizen Corp who has partnered with Dubai World Central to facilitate the meetings and will be opening offices in Fashion Island. Smiling proud, Daily said, “DWC is looking to build out its master planned community and they really like what we have in Orange County. There are things we take for granted that people will flock to no matter where you live. We are here to facilitate the best that we have with the opportunity to expand in a growing, affluent market – East Orange County.”
The initial meetings were the latest in a series of international outreach programs undertaken by Dubai World Central to attract foreign investment.
